I've taken about five months off from blogging, and my general lack of productivity is starting to make me feel a little edgy. So hopefully I'll be able to update this as frequently as my previous blog, albeit with a different type of content.
I don't want this to become a half-assed review site, as Boss Musings did toward the end there, and I don't want to post things I'm not at least marginally comfortable with. I'll keep a movie/music/book(?) list going, so that you can see where my tastes currently lie if you're interested in that sort of thing, but other than that I'm going to try to restrict myself from delving into standard rock-crit (or sub-rock-crit, as is more often the case) fare. It's boring and there are plenty of people who do it better and more regularly anyway.
I also would like to shift my focus back toward film, even though I seem to be watching fewer and fewer films these days. It's supposed to be, like, what I do. Also, some regular old blog stuff...though I'll spare you my weekly dinner plans and upcoming travel itineraries.
To those who follow Basshead Media, the site will return in the fall. I can't create a new Ithaca-based website template off campus, and it's been difficult to coordinate while away and abroad. Our old site has been providing me with all sorts of fascinating technical problems, so for now the site unfortunately has to remain on hiatus.
