Sorry to say that it was just easier in the end to stick with JS-Kit (booooo) than to try to transfer everything over to Disqus. Apologies to anyone who finds the new format annoying, but the old comment threads are too important not to display, especially for anyone coming to the site for the first time.
This is a test of the non-emergency commenting system. In the event of a real emergency, I would not be typing things into the innernet.
ReplyDeleteThe great thing about testing is that it shows us what we have learned.
ReplyDeleteExcept now when we're scrolling through we have to click on "View Comments" to find out if there are any comments. I don't suppose you can do anything about that. (Or perhaps this is a feature of Google Chrome, and if I were viewing through some other Web browser things would look different.)
ReplyDeleteIt's not Google Chrome, it is indeed how Echo/JS-Kit thought people would like their commenting system to work. Because they are IDIOTS WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE.
ReplyDeleteI haven't found a way to modify it but I'll try again.
