Inconspicuous like dollar bin gold
1. OH MAN. Two Stacey Q albums, one Kim Wilde album, and one single by Sequal (8 versions on LP single of "I'm Over You"). AMG sez: "Of all the femme pop-dance outfits that garnered major-label deals in the late 80's, Florida-based Sequal was probably the most authentic, vocally talented act, armed with some of the strongest production and material of the bunch. Yet, unlike their peers Expose', The Cover Girls, Seduction, and Company B, none of their singles ever graced the pop charts"). ALL FOR ONE DOLLAR. Listening to Better Than Heaven now on the turntable my friend so graciously donated to our apt. Also picked up vol. 1 and 2 of Freestyle Greatest Beats via Amazon. Freestyle sorta weekend. Lookout.
2. Lindsay's video for one of her early hits (I think "Ultimate" was earlier) "Drama Queen (That Girl)" has a nice moment during the ridiculous "rap" section where she just kind of laughs, like I can't believe I'm actually SAYING this cheezy crap, throws down the mic and storms off.
3. Great video to an a cappella version (pretty sure this was manipulated in a karaoke program or something) of "And Then We Kiss."
4. Aimee Allen's "I'd Start a Revolution (If I Could Get Up in the Morning)" again.
