OK, now you can call it a comeback

1. Sugar Shock returns! The Tween Trap turned out pretty well. A parag about the exchange with Tom Breihan was cut (for now) and will probably be turned into another column for Feb or March at the latest. Depending on how far I get with this children/agency stuff in the meantime.

2. Jukebox returns! Without me (yet). But they're going to a daily blog format that should be easier to keep up with since I won't have to do a huge batch of reviews at the end of the week (even though ultimately I'd probably end up writing more stuff). I usually don't like what I write in the jukebox, actually, but I'm going to try to just kind of go with it, not fuss so much over one-liners and worry about sounding like an idiot etc.

3. Da Capo is looking for good music writing for their 2007 book. I've got a couple of things to link, also looking for a good column to send in (maybe Paris? I dunno, personally I like the twin-pop essay the best), but this is as good a time as any to pose the question about which pieces were the BEST MUSIC WRITING OF 2006. Comment below! I'll post a list of some of my favorites later tonight.
