Dontcha wish your girlfriend was Lil' Mama?

1. New kolumen ran today. Subsequent possible hott convo alert in this post between me and J. Bradley, join in if ya like. "Dangerous to assume teenpoppers are TOO intelligent"? Discuss!

2. Lil' Mama is indisputably artist of the year, until someone disputes this. She has now improved TWO songs that were already pretty darn good ("Umbuberella" and "Girlfriend"). When is her album coming out???

3. Now listening to the various ironies in Hilary's new album and realized (though it isn't "ironic" per se) that "Stranger" is the inverse of "Complicated"! You love me when we're in public, but at home you're an aloof stranger. If everyone knew you like I know you, they would all think you were a stranger, too. Oh wait, there's the irony after all.

"Dignity": "You'd show up to the opening of an envelope." HOLY JEEZ that's a good line! It whizzed right over my head till now because I was thinking of, like, an awards show or something. But no, it's like "you're just jealous cuz your only fan is on the ceiling!" <--an Aly and AJ fan said this about me once! HA!

"With Love": I would still prefer "you can even give blood/ just do it with love."

OK, will skip the rest, except to say that my favorites (in order, and excluding "Gypsy Woman" which is pretty much #1 of the year for its WTFness but a relatively weak track, if not bad, songwise) are "Happy" (gorgeous), "Dignity" (whadda bitch!), "Dreamer" (silly stalker song!), "Outside of You." Skippable: "No Work All Play," "Between You and Me," maybe "I Wish." Almost in the top 4-5: "Never Stop." Conspicuously tacked on like seriously they could have at least TRIED to integrate it: "Play with Fire." (How do you screw up the placement of such a good song SO BADLY? Jeez, shoulda just left it off so it could keep its dignity hyuck.)

4. Has anyone ever liked more than, oh, two songs by the band called TWELVE RODS? If so, which ones? I'm really at a loss here.

5. Anyone got that Rihanna joint yet?????

It's totally mucking up my ability to say random crap beneath your posts. Are there problems with Haloscan that I should be aware of or something?
