The Good, the Bad, and the OK

Brainstorming ideas for the new column, kind of simultaneously working with a few ideas. Please sort into GOOD, BAD, and OK. (My own opinions in brackets.)

(1) A condensed free-formish guide to Rolling Teenpop 2007 to date (might make more sense to do this at half-year?) [OK]

(2) A condensed free-formish guide to Rolling Teenpop 2006 in its entirety. [Good]

(3) Avril discussion, coming from the recent legitimacy talk over on said RT07 thread. [OK]

(4) Android divadom and its implications. [OK]

(5) Pre-emptive teenpop retrospective a/k/a Back to Max. [Good]

(6) Tykes to Watch Out For (yuk) up and comer feature. [OK, Bad for relative lack of current examples]

(7) Poor Little Rich Girls: how the distaste for celebrity/teenybopper-as-social-class has allowed teenpop to infiltrate interesting and unexpected places, and how the stupid dismissals might aid a reinvigoration of the blanket-category/genre (teenpop --> dance, country, rap, etc.). [Could be GOOD, not sure]

(8) More bitching about SR/K-punk. [BAD]

(9) The Beaties REVEALED (again), or possibly given a fictional/mythical career arc as "little known under the radar teenpop group." [Bad for the column, tho would be fun to write]

(10) American Idol. [BAD CUZ I REALLY DON'T CARE AT ALL AT THIS POINT]

(11) [insert suggestion here...er, down there in the comments]
